Etain McNulty -
Background
-
I studied at the Anglo European College of Therapeutic Hypnosis where I was awarded with a Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma.
-
I also have a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy. My training included a 10 month diploma course from a college that is known for some of the most rigorous standards in hypnotherapy training in the UK.
-
I also hold an Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner Diploma. My Hypnotherapy training focused on the value of evidence-based techniques within practice and this has remained an important component of the way I work. This means that certain techniques, such as regression are not used within my own practice due to ongoing commitment to client welfare.
-
I am also a qualified and certified Breathwork Facilitator. This practice enables me to help clients to use their breath to change how they are feeling in the moment.
-
My CPD (Continued Professional Development) has included courses in understanding the mechanisms underlying Anxiety and Trauma. This also includes courses in Developing Self Assertion, Effective Communicating and Working with Shame.
-
I also hold a Certificate in Coaching.

Background and Influences...
-
My background includes a BA Hons Degree in Philosophy and Politics, and a Masters Degree.
-
Since my Honors Degree, I have maintained a steady interest in Philosophy and Psychology, and particularly in the role played by the mind in generating our experience of life. I am constantly studying and improving upon what I know and the way I practice.
-
My approach to Hypnotherapy is heavily influenced by the work of Stephen Gilligan and his work around generative trance.
-
My particular interest lies in helping clients to detach from painful relationships and then moving them forward in life so that they are no longer surviving but thriving!
